Week 35

I had an awesome 35th week of school! This is my last Friday of fifth grade so this might be my last post. But it’s been an awesome year! This friday was packed, though. First, there is the Q and U wedding, when a fifth grade boy and a fifth grade girl dress up as Mr. Q and Mrs. U, and they teach the kindergarteners that Q and U are always together in all words. After that, there is the fourth grade Talent Show. It is a regular talent show, except it is only fourth grade. Lastly, there is the student vs teacher basketball game, when the students and teachers have a basketball game against each other. The students have won the last two years, but we’ll see. I had an extremely cool, super awesome 35th week of school!

Week 34

I had a charitable 34th week of fifth grade! On Thursday, I went on a field trip to KARM(Knox Area Rescue Ministries). They basically have a place for homeless people to go when they have nowhere else. We went to the main building and one of its stores. In the main building, we saw where the people slept and ate. They got thousands of food donations, and our school was even one of them. At the thrift store, we helped sort and fold donated clothes. Also this week, we finally started filming our movies! We’re probably going to be filming every day with there being only 2 weeks of school left, so I’ll get back on that. I had an awesome 34th week of school!

Week 33

My 33rd week of school was packed! For the entire week, we have been working almost nonstop in reading class on our scripts, but we’re making good progress. Also this week, the final tests came. But we only had two of them because the state screwed up again. For some reason, there wasn’t enough test material, so we didn’ t take them. But now we don’t have to do tests! Also this week, the yearbooks came in. We all got to see how much we’ve grown throughout the year, and in the end, this year will be great. I had an awesome 33rd week of fifth grade!

Week 32

Well, I’m nearing the end of the school year in my 32nd week. There are only 4 weeks left of school. But I still had fun in this one. This week, I worked a bunch on my movie script, but we still haven’t started filming yet😕. Also this week, our school’s quire group had a concert that the whole school saw. On Friday, we made a song with our reading buddies. I had an awesome 32nd week!

Week 31

My 31st week of fifth charitable. This week, we had a fundraiser for a first-grader at our school who has lung cancer. People made a lemonade stand, and at the school had a drive when you could give two dollars for him. we made a commercial for the shaved ice, and you can see that in my Shaved Ice post. Also this week, I finished my final solo song. Overall, I had a great week!

Week 30

My 30th week of fifth grade was pretty awesome! Last Friday was April Fools day, and some of the teachers did some pretty funny jokes. For example, Mr. Haney convinced us that he would be leaving the school to become another school’s principal, and that our  substitute for the rest of the year would be a mean old lady who used to teach at a Russian juvenile detention facility! But thankfully, it was all a joke. This week, we had the district-wide track meet. Our school did pretty well, and there was a team of students that filmed it all. You can see highlights of the match in my Track Meet post. I had an awesome 30th week of fifth grade!
